Please note the following:
For spectators there will be a charge to enter the Castle grounds. The race would not be possible without the support of the Muncaster Estate, so please help support them (and the gardens are lovely at this time of year!)
There will be a requirement to carry some kit, although the exact kit will be based on the weather on the day.
There is no need to climb walls anywhere on the course, and anyone caught doing so will be disqualified.
There is some very rough, tussocky ground between Raven Crag and the Pepper Pot. Please take care!
It is lambing time so no dogs please.
If anyone reading has any information on previous running of the race, or historic results the organiser would be very grateful to receive them.
