Blackshaw Head is a village above Hebden Bridge in the upper Calderdale Valley. The Blackshaw Head Fell Race is part of the village fete held each year on the Saturday after the August bank holiday.
The start and race registration is found in the Fete field, near Blackshaw Head Chapel, Blackshaw Head, nr Hebden Bridge HX77JY (Grid ref 959276 on OL21)
The course is partially flagged. Runners are responsible for following the route and for their own safety.
Entry on the day (£4) plus a donation to enter the fete field. No pre-entry. No teams. Entry limit 150. All profits will be donated to local charities.
Minimum age on race day is 16.
